As I was perusing through the craftzine blog I came across a very exciting post. Cathy of California is teaching a class at The Craft Kitchen in Santa Ana. That is literally a stone throw away from where I live. I nearly jumped out of my chair with happiness and then I felt like such an idiot for not even knowing that The Craft Kitchen existed. And just my luck it was this past Saturday…well, maybe next time I will make it in time.

On another note, last week went by very slowly, unlike the weekend that went by in the blink of an eye. I can hardly believe that it is already March. I better get my butt in gear if I want to be more productive this year =)

So starting over is clearly the only thing to do. I am amazed at all the talent that is out here in the online crafty world. As an avid reader of many many craft blogs, I can only hope to try harder and hopefully become even a little bit as awesome as these wonderful crafters.

That being said here is a picture of the first blanket I ever completed. It was a gift to Ryan’s grandfather, who was more than ecstatic to receive it. (plus I always see it being used or in close proximity at his house)
